Why was my account suspended?

Workspaces are suspended when an invoice is still unpaid 7 days after it's due, or for misuse. Pay the invoice and it reopens automatically.

Unpaid invoices

An unpaid invoice doesn't stop anything at first: you can keep uploading and payouts carry on. If it's still unpaid 7 days after it was due, the workspace is suspended automatically. While it's suspended:

  • visitors can't open its galleries or pages: they see a message that the site isn't available;
  • its galleries are taken out of Find your photos;
  • payouts aren't processed;
  • your own FTP server can't be used for it.

You can still sign in, see the workspace and pay. Pay the outstanding invoice and the workspace reopens automatically, usually within an hour. Check Account & Billing for unpaid invoices, and use Manage billing to update your card.

Misuse

A workspace can also be suspended for breaking our terms, such as actions that put the platform's security or fair use at risk. Those suspensions are lifted by our team, not automatically.

What to do

Check your email for a message from us, and pay any outstanding invoices. If you're not sure why your workspace was suspended, email support@photohawk.com.
