Photohawk

Delete photos, videos and media in bulk

Select many photos, videos or Media library files at once, with Shift-click or Select all, and delete them together. Files still in use are kept.

Deleting can't be undone. Before you delete photos from a gallery that sells, check what has sold with the Sold filter (see See what has sold in a gallery).

  1. Open the gallery's Photos & Videos tab, on Photos.
  2. Tick a photo to select it. Shift-click another to select every photo in between.
  3. To select everything, choose Select all in the bar that appears. It selects every photo that matches the collection and filters you're viewing, on every page, not just the ones on screen, and tells you how many.
  4. Choose Delete, check the number ("Delete 250 photos?") and confirm.

The photos are deleted a few at a time, with a running count. To delete an exact set, filter first (a collection, or a search for a bib number or keyword), then Select all.

On Videos, tick the videos you want, or Select all, then choose Delete and confirm. If some can't be deleted, they stay selected so you can try again.

Files in your Media library

  1. Go to Media in the main menu.
  2. Tick files, Shift-click for a range, or choose Select all for everything in the folder you're viewing.
  3. Choose Delete and confirm. (Move puts the selected files into a folder instead.)

Files still used by a gallery, collection, page or the workspace, such as the watermark or logo of a live gallery, aren't deleted. The message says how many are still in use and leaves them selected. Delete each of those on its own: Photohawk then shows where it's used and lets you unset or replace it first. Folders are deleted one at a time.
