I need a password or access code to see the photos

Some galleries are private. Only the event organiser or photographer can give you the password: where it's usually shared, and how to enter it.

Some galleries are private: the photographer or the event organiser has protected them with a password, for example for a school, a club or a corporate event. When you open one, you see Please login to continue and a box for the password. You don't need a Photohawk account: just the gallery's password, sometimes called an access code.

Where to find the password

The password is chosen by whoever runs the gallery, and only they can give it to you. Photohawk can't share it. It's usually sent with the gallery's link, so look in:

  • the email or message the event sent participants about the photos,
  • your entry or registration confirmation,
  • the event's website, social media pages or participant information.

If you can't find it, ask the event organiser or the photographer: they can send it to you.

Enter the password

  1. Type the password exactly as you were given it. Capital letters, spaces and symbols matter.
  2. Choose Login.

If you see Password incorrect... please try again, check for a typing mistake, or ask the organiser whether the password has changed.

Once the password is accepted, the gallery opens, and your browser remembers it on that device, so you don't need to type it again.
