A product list is a reusable set of products and prices. Link one to any number of galleries; a change to the list applies to every gallery using it.
Create a list
- Go to Product Lists in the main menu and choose New product list, with a name and currency, or
- in a gallery's Settings, on Selling & downloads, choose Create product list. It's linked to the gallery straight away.
To start from an existing list, choose Duplicate list and pick a new name and currency.
Link a list to a gallery
In the gallery's Settings, on Selling & downloads, choose the Product list and save. Edit products opens the list.
Add products
Choose Add product. Products are grouped into Downloads, Prints and Videos. For each one:
- Name and Description: what buyers see.
- Type: Download, Print or Video.
- Fulfilment: Lab (Photohawk produces and delivers it automatically) or Self-managed (you deliver it yourself).
- Download resolution (px): the longest edge buyers receive; 0 sends the original. For high-resolution downloads, 3000px or more is a good choice; 1200 to 2000px suits social media.
- Include watermark: puts your branding watermarks on what the buyer receives. Security watermarks never appear on purchases.
- Pricing model: Standard (one price per item), Package (a set number of items for one price, with min and max units) or Volume (price tiers by quantity, such as 1, 2 to 4, 5 or more).
- Pre-order: a lower price for buying before the photos are up. See Pre-orders.
- Product image and Image fit (cover or contain).
Extra options:
- Featured: highlights the product on the gallery, with your Featured text, such as "Any 4 photos for £10".
- Add-on product: offered alongside other products.
- Upgradable: lets buyers upgrade to another product, with your own title and subtitle.
- Request additional info: asks the buyer a question at checkout.
Prints
For a lab print, choose the Lab product. You'll see where it ships from (we fulfil from the closest location to each buyer) and the lab cost per print. Set your price above it. See Print products and the print lab.
For a self-managed print, enter your own width and height. Buyers can adjust the crop before checkout either way.
Several participants in one cart
Allow multiple participants (on the gallery's Selling & downloads tab) lets one buyer check out photos of more than one person, such as a parent buying for two children. Off, each person's photos are checked out separately.
