Add a TikTok Pixel to your galleries

Find your TikTok Pixel ID, add it under Settings → Integrations, check it with Test events, and see which events your galleries send to TikTok.

Updated November 2, 2026

A TikTok Pixel measures your TikTok ads with gallery visits and sales, and lets you build audiences of people who visited your galleries. It's one of the Integrations, on the Pro and Max plans.

Find your pixel ID

  1. In TikTok Ads Manager, go to Tools, then Events, then Web Events.
  2. Choose your pixel. If you don't have one, set up a new web data source with the TikTok Pixel and choose to install the code yourself. You can skip the code: Photohawk adds it.
  3. Copy the pixel ID shown under its name. It's 20 capital letters and digits, like CABCDEFGHIJ123456789.

Add it in Photohawk

  1. Go to Settings in the main menu, then the Integrations tab.
  2. Paste the ID into TikTok Pixel.
  3. Choose Save integrations.

Every gallery in your workspace now uses it. To use a different pixel for one gallery, or to leave a gallery out, open the gallery, then Settings, then the Integrations tab, and choose A different ID or Off for this gallery for TikTok Pixel.

Check it's working

  1. In TikTok Events Manager, choose your pixel, then Test events.
  2. Enter your gallery's address, or scan the QR code to open it on your phone.
  3. In the gallery, choose Accept all in the cookie banner, then open a photo and try a search. The events appear in Test events within a few seconds.

The TikTok Pixel Helper browser extension also shows the events as they're sent.

Questions people ask

Why does TikTok show fewer events than the gallery's Analytics tab?

The pixel loads only for visitors who choose Accept all in the gallery's cookie banner, and ad blockers can stop it too. The gallery's Analytics tab counts every visit, so TikTok usually sees fewer.

Does Photohawk also send events through TikTok's Events API?

No. Events are sent only by the pixel in the visitor's browser, after their consent. Nothing is sent from Photohawk's servers to TikTok for you.
