AI tools can now remove a watermark from a screenshot in seconds. Preview protection covers each person in your sales previews, including their kit and bib numbers. Buyers reveal one band of a person at a time as they move over them, never the whole person at once, so they can check focus, expression and framing, but a screenshot is useless to a watermark remover.
Turn it on or off
It's on by default for galleries that sell.
- Open the gallery, then Settings, then the Watermarks tab.
- Find Advanced: preview protection and use the Preview protection switch.
- Choose Save settings.
Blur people in thumbnails also blurs people in the gallery grid. When it's off, thumbnails show people unblurred but only at a small size; opened photos stay protected.
To turn it off for every gallery, go to Settings in the main menu: Preview protection for galleries sets the default for your workspace.
It isn't available while free downloads are on, because the full photo is given away anyway.
See what buyers see
Under What buyers will see, choose Try it to try it on a photo from the gallery. On a computer, click a person to reveal them; on a phone, tap.
Photos already in the gallery
When you turn it on, existing photos are scanned after you save. A photo shows normally until its scan finishes, which usually takes seconds.

Does it stop all screenshots?
No protection can. It makes a screenshot far less useful, because no single view shows a whole person clearly.
Can I use it on a free-download gallery?
No. It's not available while free downloads are on, because the full photo is given away anyway.
